First Honington

Had all seasons in one day but we found a 3 hour window in the early afternoon and ran everyone through in there -it was tight, it was messy but we got a meeting. It was good to see some fuel bikes at this round including the famous John Hobbs who was breaking chains on his Triumph whilst crewing for Dave Clee. Martin Wilmott has been playing with his fuel nitro Triumph threshing machine and ran only 2 tenths off his PB -who said there was no grip? Just to show the diversity of machinery Terry Ward was there with both his scooters, The other Terry (Homan) was hurting clutches with his kettle. And the modern bikes (we seem to have a rash -or should that be plague?, of Kawasakis at the moment) were running really well too. Thanks to everyone for keeping the faith -stay tuned for the results which got to my house before I did.

1st meeting of the year

This seemed to go well with great weather and no problems or tumbles. Everyone did a great job of adding silencers to their bikes (thank you) and intrestingly very few people found themselves going much slower. The range of bikes at these meetings is just astounding a feat which is only surpassed by the quality of the banter. We’ll put the championship points up after the next meeting. As you can see the entry for Honington is now up. We will find it hard to accomodate late entries due to the level of security which exisits on the base. Please get your enties in promptly. We must get all web entries by the wednesday before and preferably before. And a plea from Terry please get your numbers legible remember no number no time!!
