d day approaches

Well everything has now gone to the shippers who have been really helpful. So the next time I see it all should be in Denver. The plan is that Rob and I fly out Tuesday, we stay the night with another team member Gary, the following day take the truck and trailer back to the airport and pick every thing up. We then load Garys workshop into the trailer and on Thursday the 3 of us drive the 600miles to Wendover. Scrutineering is Friday -the same day Marshal is due to join us and racing starts Saturday (for 7 days). The only problem is me dad is not doing very well again (he has a terminal illness) he is adamant that I should go but we’re seeing the doc in the morning .

Woodbridge

Was by all accounts a good day -once the weather had cleared up. We had a modest turn out but everyone got in lots of runs and we welcomed some new riders. It was excellent to get some flyers in too. The results and torque talk will be out soon.

Here we go again

Displaying a complete lack of common sense we are going back for another go. I thought we had a sensible sponsorship deal but it came to nothing in the end, so I’m paying for it (again). We have had some products and services help and I’m very grateful to Beano’s nuts, Jim Aim motorcycles, Colchester Kawasaki, and N C Cammack for thier contributions. One of our team has again sponsored us through Morgan Anesthesia with all sorts of help and Kyle of Scott Aviation is again lending us trailer tools, generator etc cheers Kyle.
So current state of play is the bike is pretty much ready to run. We are entered and really all I need to do it chuck the tools in the flight case and send it to Denver. Rob and I recently did a talk at a local school and I got to ride it into the schools hall only 38 years too late to get expelled.
