2nd Honington meeting

Felt very busy with both torque and the flyers guys in attendance

Lots work for us but I think a big success. We dedicated the meeting to John Homan and were very pleased that Mrs Homan was in attendance to present the John Homan trophy for Johns favourite bike which was given to Dave Benge. We were visited by aircraft of several kinds and We had the biggest engine explosion I’ve seen in ages. There will be a pause before I send torque talk or put up the results but I’ll do both

What a great meeting with a good entry, a visit from the Hobbit and even the weather behaved. Special features at this meeting were our new riders, the compact and bijoux pit area and finally after 5 years of trying we got the military guys to come out and play. They were quick learners and very competitive. I’ll get the results up as soon as and I’ll ping you torque talk.

Went well considering. The weather was a bit variable with a big shower around lunch. The track was gripless and we had a modest entry. On the plus side we got 200 runs in, the new timing crew got the hang of it all really well, we had no incidents and of course best of all, it was great to meet up with everyone, talk rubbish and tell lies. I’ll put the results up soon and ping you torque talk.
